Sweepstakes Strategies to Win More Prizes

These are the exact strategies my husband and I use. They’ve helped us win trips, cash, gift cards, chocolate, and more. Try them, tweak them, and make them your own!

🏆 Sweepstakes Pro (What I do!)

This is the routine that gives us the best mix of fun and results:

  1. Do a “full sweep” (first time on our site only)
    Start on Page 1 of the SweepstakesMom homepage and enter everything you’re eligible for. This guarantees you’re in every active sweepstakes at least once.

  2. Every morning: enter the NEW sweepstakes.
    This guarantees you have at least one entry into each active sweepstakes. Can’t win if you don’t play! Make it part of your morning routine: coffee + new sweepstakes ❤️❤️!

  3. Hit the Daily Entry page.
    This is where the real magic happens. The more days you enter, the better your odds of winning. Some days my husband and I will literally race each other to finish our daily entries. Have fun with it!

🕒 Time Saver Strategy

Perfect for busy parents and people with 10–15 minutes a day:

  1. Do your “full sweep” once so you’re in all active sweepstakes. This means start at page one and go through every single sweepstakes. This will take some time but not as long as you think. And, most importantly it gives you a shot at winning hundreds of sweepstakes!

  2. Each day, only enter the NEW sweepstakes. This guarantees at least one entry in every fresh opportunity.

  3. If you have extra time, add a few favorites:

Mail-in entries can secretly boost your odds, especially when fewer people are willing to put in the effort.

How we handle mail-ins:

  • Once a week, we check sweepstakes that offer a mail-in option.

  • Mail-ins don’t require a purchase, and sometimes they’re worth more entries than uploading a receipt.

  • Always read the official rules carefully so your entry is valid.

  • Factor in the cost of stamps. If a sweepstakes allows 30, 40, or 100+ entries by mail, only send as many as you feel comfortable with.
